"Flying Boat"  by Henry Kliner

This photograph was captured while returning from an afternoon spent observing 'Killer Whales' ( Orca orcinus ) in the waters of Johnstone Strait between Vancouver Island and mainland British Columbia. We had became so engrossed in the antics of these magnificent creatures that we failed to realize the time. One member of our group would miss the last possible sailing of the Port Angeles ferry if we did not return to Victoria's inner harbour in time. As I'm sure you may have guessed - we were able to coax the necessary speed out of our water craft to meet that deadline!
